Purpose
The Contemporary Theatre Arts Practice Learning Community aims to bridge the gap between academic study and professional theatre practice by providing students with real-world learning experiences. Through discounted theatre attendance, artist discussions, and hands-on workshops with renowned practitioners, students engage deeply with contemporary theatre, enhancing their creative and professional development.
This group engages in contemporary theatre practice through an established partnership with The Everyman theatre, providing students with networking opportunities, professional insights, and direct exposure to industry-standard theatre production. The community continues to grow post-COVID, fostering stronger links between students, staff, and local/national theatre practitioners.
