SUCCEED - Standardising the Use, Communication and Capability of studEntsurvEy.ie Data is now a MTU university wide programme that makes StudentSurvey.ie data more accessible at academic unit and programme level and provides an evidence-based mechanism within the university to close the feedback loop.
MTU has a standardised reporting structure that enables SUCCEED reports to be generated across all applicable academic units and programmes thereby enabling academic units to:
- Identify areas of strength, which can be celebrated, and possible areas of weakness which they may be interested in exploring further.
- Easily provide information for course board meetings and programmatic reviews.
- Potentially inform the coaching and professional development of their staff.
In addition, SUCCEED meetings are available to academic units to support them in interpreting their results, facilitate discussion of their results and explore the various Teaching, Learning Assessment and Student Engagement (TLASE) related supports that are available within MTU, through the Teaching and Learning Unit (TLU) and AnSEO – The Student Engagement Office, that may be of use when identifying possible courses of action.
SUCCEED was originally funded as a Transforming Teaching and Learning for Student Success Project under MTU’s allocation of the Strategic Alignment of Teaching and Learning Enhancement 2020 (SATLE 2020) Fund.
