MTU Midday Momentum Training & Development Series 2025

The Teaching & Learning Unit, supported by funding from the Technological Sector Advancement Fund (TSAF), is proud to announce the launch of the MTU Midday Momentum Training & Development Series for 2025.

The TSAF, administered by the Higher Education Authority (HEA), is designed to foster innovation in teaching and learning within the technological sector. This funding enables the Teaching & Learning Unit to develop and deliver initiatives that enhance staff skills and knowledge through accessible and flexible professional development opportunities.

This initiative comprises a series of online seminars covering diverse themes—from career development and technical skills such as Microsoft Excel, to student support and workplace diversity. Delivered on a regular basis, these sessions allow MTU staff to participate in topics that interest them without the need for a long-term commitment. Each seminar will be conducted online, recorded for future reference, and will include interactive Q&A sessions to facilitate discussion and clarify any queries.

If you have any suggestions for additional topics to be covered in this series, please feel free to email your ideas to daniel.spillane@mtu.ie.
