Strategic Alignment of Teaching and Learning Enhancement (SATLE) Funding supports higher education institutions in enhancing teaching, learning, assessment, and student engagement for both staff and students. The funding is administered by the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education in partnership with the Higher Education Authority and is used within MTU to advance institutional priorities in teaching and learning enhancement. The Department of Learning, Teaching and the Arts manage the fund in MTU.
National Priority Areas
There are three national priority areas:
| ESD Education for Sustainable Development | DT Digital Transformation in the Tertiary Sector | AI Best Practices in Academic Integrity |
The funding provides opportunities for staff and students to engage in innovative projects and collaborative activities that enhance the learning experience, support evidence-based practice, and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning across the university.
