About FAI-PD
The Feedback, Assessment & Integrity for Professional Development (FAI-PD) programme is a professional development initiative at MTU that supports staff in developing effective, student-centred approaches to assessment, feedback and academic integrity. This programme directly supports the SATLE funding theme of developing best practice for academic integrity.

The programme builds a supportive community of practice where staff can reflect on their teaching, share experiences, and develop innovative approaches that enhance the student experience.
By enhancing assessment literacy, feedback practice, academic integrity, and digital capability, FAI-PD helps MTU deliver high-quality, student-centred education while supporting key institutional priorities around teaching excellence, student success, and innovation in higher education.

It is open to all early career staff who have completed the Enabling Academic Transitions through Professional Development (EAT-PD) programme. Over 20 staff have participated in the programme since it commenced in 2026.
